Everyones Path Winds in Different Ways |
Through my own healing journey, along with the experience and knowledge I have gained, my passion for helping others has grown and I am very lucky to be able to help others on their own healing journey.
I believe that my role is also to light a spark within you, to help you find a way to heal yourself, because I truly believe that you have the skills and resources within you to do that, it's perhaps they are buried under the weight of 'coping' strategies and life's distractions. At some point the issues surface, and thats when you experience emotional distress. |
Our mind is split into 2 parts, the conscious and the subconscious. The conscious is our logical part and the subconscious looks after us.
97% of our day is spent within the subconscious. From waking up, putting our feet on the floor, flicking on the kettle, getting dressed and eating breakfast and so on. We could class it as being on 'auto pilot'. We don't seem to appear to need to think about what we are doing, it happens naturally. The subconscious is always working towards a positive intention for us even if it doesn't seem right or healthy to us. If we have created a bad habit as a coping mechanism, then the subconscious will continue to use this to keep us safe and happy as it has worked before. |
Change Happens on the Inside |
A Journey of Discovery
|
BECOME AWARE: Listen to your inner voice, feel your emotions, observe your behaviour, and you will identify things that you want to change about yourself. Think about where you are and where you want to be, or how you want to feel. Decide you want to get better, to bridge the gap, and then find help to do so if need be.
RELAX & EXPLORE: Find a safe place where you feel comfortable and can relax so that you, with help, can explore the gap. Breathing exercises, reiki, meditation and hypnotherapy will help you to relax to then be able to explore. LET GO: Release the sadness, fear or anger from within. For some this is talking, crying or simply coming to terms with and accepting that it's happened and you can't change it. FLIP THE SWITCH: Build a positive mindset and internal belief system that enables you to forget the past and move forward. BOOST YOUR INNER STRENGTH: Continue to look to yourself for healing. What can you do to work on your confidence and self esteem? What positive changes have you noticed about yourself? Take a look at how far you have come... continue to build in that resilience to everlasting change, reclaim your power. |
I take a diverse yet all encompassing approach to therapy, blending many different modalities depending on each client and their needs. What works for you will be different to what works for somebody else.
Change always happens on the inside, in the subconscious, and is fast and positive. It is not a cognitive process. It's about the way you feel. And feeling 'OK' is good enough, we aren't aiming for perfection, we are aiming to feel OK and for things to be good. I use a unique combination of techniques, including Reiki, Hypnotherapy, EFT, EMDR and NLP to relax you and to negotiate with your subconscious, keeping it happy and removing the chance of resistance. The beauty of each of these therapies is that they can fluidly come together depending on how each client is feeling at every appointment. For example, after a consultation you may book in for a block of hypnotherapy sessions, but mid way through we may feel that reiki would be beneficial and so we add that into the therapeutic mix too. |
An Adaptive Approach to TherapyPutting Together The Pieces |
How I WorkWith positivity & purpose.
With care & compassion. With the right intent. |
You may experience emotional distress in all sorts of ways—as sadness, anxiety, addictions, unproductive obsessions, unwanted compulsions, repetitive self-sabotaging behaviours, physical ailments, boredom, and various angry, bleak, and agitated moods. Everyone will be different, and thats why there is no 'one size fits all' approach to therapy. Everyone is unique, and therapy should get to the root of your own individual issues.
Whatever approach we take, I always do my very best to deliver well-being therapies with honesty and compassion, to ensure that your experience is a positive one that empowers you, to open your mind, to bring about healing, peace of mind and personal growth. |
