Round-up of most recent research into Distant ReikiWhile many research studies support in person Reiki for mental and physical health outcomes, less is known about the effects of distance Reiki. With an increase in online/remote/distance sessions as a result of the Covid pandemic, distance Reiki is now more popular than ever.

More research is continuing with the Mayo Clinic currently undertaking a study to determine the effect of distance Reiki on patient reported quality of life and immunity among Multiple Myeloma patients. So, distance Reiki works. I am a firm believer that the deeper the trust between the client and the Reiki Practitioner, then the more effective the sessions can be because the patient is more open to change. In my personal experience of working with clients all over the world, distance Reiki delivers the same benefits as in-person Reiki, and that over time clients will often experience profound shifts in their physical and mental health.
