Supporting cancer patients with Reiki healing

I have had the absolute pleasure of attending a number of events, run by The Hampshire Hospitals Trust and Macmillan Cancer Support, to provide Reiki healing therapy sessions for those living with cancer.

Held in Basingstoke, Winchester and Andover, the events were designed to support those currently going through treatment for cancer. With specialists providing advice regarding care and nutrition, and other organisations providing information on topics such as hair, make up, exercise and local charity support, Reiki therapy was a natural choice to accompany the health and well being services available to help those currently going through cancer treatment.

Many had not experienced Reiki before, however all reported that they felt relaxed and comforted, and that they appreciated the healing benefits of Reiki therapy.

So great was the experience for me too that I am now looking for other volunteering opportunities to spread the benefits of Reiki. Care homes, hospices, charities, and schools - please get in touch if you would like to offer Reiki to those needing support.
